From the Practice Glove to our other training tools, each innovation started in the lesson tee, born from real challenges golfers face and refined through years of teaching. Our mission is simple: give golfers the foundation and confidence they need to lowers scores, hit better shots, and enjoy the game.
About the Inventor, Adam Kolloff
Adam Kolloff is the creator of The Practice Glove and the owner of Pure Drive Golf. With over 12 years of experience as a golf instructor, Adam believes that every great swing starts with the grip, and it’s a principle that has shaped much of his teaching.
Mentored for seven years by Hall of Fame instructor Jim McLean, Adam has taught at some of the game’s most prestigious venues, including Liberty National Golf Club, host of the 2017 Presidents Cup. He is a Golf Digest “Best Young Teacher in America,” a “Best Teacher in the State of New Jersey,” and has twice been honored by the PGA as Massachusetts Teacher of the Year in 2019 and New England Teacher of the Year in 2021.
Through years of teaching and studying the mechanics of the swing, Adam searched for the one common denominator behind every reliable golf swing. His conclusion was simple but powerful: the grip. Specifically, the proper placement of the club in the hands, and the ability to maintain it. That insight inspired the creation of The Practice Glove, a training aid designed to lock in correct grip fundamentals, build muscle memory, and give golfers the confidence to swing with freedom.
In addition to The Practice Glove, Adam has developed several other training products, published a book on using TrackMan technology to master the swing, and competed successfully as a professional golfer. With the Practice Glove, his mission is to give every golfer, from beginners to professionals, the same foundation and tools the best players in the world rely on: a better grip, and a better game.
